Glitter: I plan to stay on in England. Also, I have looked up job vacancies over there for techs and they are in the range of £13-£15 to start. Is that not a good rate of pay? That translates to approx $26-$30 here, which is excellent lol. :-/

Is what America calls a Pharmacy Tech and what England calls a Pharmacy Tech are two different things?
Do you want to come over to live,or just to train?If you are thinking of doing both,first i’d think about wether it might be worth training where you are,and then coming over.To become a pharmacy technician,you usually would start off as a medicine counter assistant,then work your way up to dispensing assistant,and then on to pharmacy technician.And the pay is really not great!Good luck anyway

edit- i think the hospital technicians probably earn more than community tech’s….for a community tech,you can expect to earn between £7-£8 per hour,depending on the company.Not sure if a UK tech is classed same as an American tech,but i’m sure there can’t be too much difference-after all,all bodies work in the same way,so the drugs can’t be that different,can they?:-)lol!!
